Western Trail/Pleasure Saddles
All the saddle styles shown below are usually available on either a Semi QH or Full QH tree in either polymer, flex or wood.
If the saddle states that it comes with a flex tree, that flex tree included in the price. If it states polymer tree, then a flex or wood tree would be an upgrade. All of these saddles are available in YOUR CHOICE of leather color, seat type/color, tooling, etc. These saddles are built to order - please allow 4-8 weeks for build time. "Trail Deluxe" - Model # WP1
100% Flex-Tree. Slick Seat -Large Barb Wire Border Hand-Tooled (sub any of the other 9 borders if desired)- Weighs 30 lbs. Item #WP1
This saddle has 4 coachman's loops (loop/hoop type rings) with saddle strings hanging from the rings. Comes with oversized laced stirrups. Extra set of rings above rear rigging and slightly towards rear of saddle can be used for saddlebags or hanging hobbles. Or we can move those rings to the rear for you (either in seat back or between skirting for crupper or breeching dees). "Wise River Trail" - Model #WP3
Hand-tooled small barb wire border (or sub any of the other 9 border toolings - Montana Silver slotted conchos with saddle strings tied through them-Polymer Tree - Grey felt underside padding at base price- can upgrade to midrange or real wool fleece if desired. Many like this style if they use saddlebags on the rear of the saddle because the skirting gives some extra support there, while still being rounded and curved to accomodate the horse's back. Also, slotted silver conchos allow you to tie saddlebags down nice and tight for less bounce when trotting/loping.
"Ridge Line Half-Seat" Model # WP4
- This is our PREMIUM line saddle - A-Fork fiberglass wrapped tree. Leather is upgraded to the best available which is very soft and durable. Lining is real fleece. Solid brass hardware, Sam Stagg rigging. Hand tooled double border rope - rear rigging latigo lined - 3" fender straps on outside of fender. Fender straps on underside are leather laced rather than Blevins buckles. Tapadarros with brass conchos and latigo strings. Weighs 42 lbs. - Item #WP4

This machine stamp is no longer available. At the base price, this WP8 saddle has no tooling. However, we can quote the price with the same Navajo/basketweave handcarved on the saddle.

Rear view - britchin and crupper rigged 
Just a note - saddle maker prefers that we use the loop/hoop type rings for crupper rings (rings in the seat back) instead of these flat dee rings. The reason is: the loop/hoop or coachman's loops are secured by two screws into the tree. The flat dee rings shown here are only secured with one screw. So, if you attach really heavy saddlebags, the coachman's loops are more secure, but they can also jingle when not in use.

"Timber Ridge Elite" - MODEL # WP19
This elite model is another of our PREMIUM line saddles - Semi-quarter polymer tree only - this is not available on a wide tree. Leather is upgraded to the best available which is very soft and durable. Lining is grey wool felt. Plate rigging - 3" fender straps on outside of fender. Barbed wire border tooling.
